We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and driven Housekeeping Supervisor to assist our Housekeeping Manager in daily cleaning and maintenance tasks. Come join our team at Homestead Resort!

Primary Duties

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Oversee staff on a daily basis
• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Respond to customer complaints and special requests
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves
• Participate in large cleaning projects as required
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
• Communicate daily with Housekeeping Manager on completed tasks and assignments

• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English

Experience

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role

Physical Demands

• Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Specifically, if it is toa considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.
• Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
• Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. Specifically, for long distances or moving fromone work site to another often.
• Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. Specifically, if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upperextremities and back muscles.
• Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
• Hands to Fingers: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather thanwith the whole hand as in handling.
• Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of forcefrequently, and/or a minor amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or legcontrols requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work yet the work involves sittingmost of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Work Environment

• Extreme Cold, Outdoor: Exposure to weather related extreme temperatures, wind, rain, and/or snowwith no effective protection from the cold.
• Extreme Heat, Outdoor: Exposure to weather related extreme temperatures, wind, and/or humiditywith no effective protection from the heat.
• Chemicals: Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals (solid, liquid, or gas) which could affect therespiratory system or skin.
